ON THE BEACH
Blessed are the Beaches
The interesting looking man and professional thinker, Alain de Botton, suggests in his book The Art of Travel, that we love the beach “because we are seeking a psychological correction for what is missing or out of balance in our everyday, urban lives”. As we constantly compare ourselves to one another, the sea offers a limit so vast that we simply cannot compare ourselves to it. In the deep blue, the sand and the crashing waves there is solace.
Now back to the clothes: all the beautiful clothes. The Sonny denim jacket with matching Helen jeans creates a playful outfit, weathered and charming, it is fashioned from superb organic cotton denim made by our dedicated denim producer in Italy. The Pollok ikat-style printed set references an angry sea. It comes in a chic wide-strapped crop top, skirt and shirt - the perfect littoral resort ensemble.
Cloak yourself from driving winds with the latest iteration of our double breasted raglan sleeve overcoat, crafted from an unfathomably soft, long pile alpaca-wool blend. Suit up (or down) in the dynamic Ava suit crafted from a salty-dry touch high-twist merino yarn - a signature P Johnson fabric dyed in several custom shades beyond the abyssal navy pictured here.
Sink into the silica with the Tina evening gown - its floor length drapes of pure silk, French-seaming, cowl back and liminal organza details collect the breeze. Top it with the velvet Sophia jacket - the perfect evening bolero in a rippling, plush technical velvet featuring silken piping and signed-off with a hand-enamelled and gold-plated feature button.
If anything from the campaign laps at your cerebral cortex please don’t hesitate to contact your client advisor, if you don’t have one, we can easily arrange it.
